Sanke Pond Animals
Taisho Sanshoku, or known as Sanke (which means three
colors), so called because this type was first shown at the exhibition taisho
in 1915 (age taisho 1912-1826). Sanke is a non-metallic fish with dual color
patterns - red (hi) and black (sumi) - the basic color white body.
Black on Sanke form small patches throughout the fish's
body, except the head. Pond animals is very beautiful. Although this color
combination she should be on top of a white background, sumi can also cover the
red or white, or alternately in red and white. Koi white base color with black
markings (which is desirable) called sumi tsubo, while koi with black spots
covering the red color called kasane sumi.
Ideally, Sanke should have tejima (three or four black line)
on the pectoral fins. The lines were sometimes also found in other parts of the
fins. Although as pond animals, koi are often included in the championship. For
example Sanke: hi pattern on an unusual head equipped with hi another on the
tip of the nose (kuchibeni). Sumi pattern concentrated on the left side of the
back of a well-balanced fish.
